Immunotherapy

What is Immunotherapy?

What ever it is, it is the latest focus in cancer therapy. In future the course for medical treatments will be radiation, chemotherapy and surgery and immunotherapy. Surgery and immunotherapy are targeted therapies.

Immunotherapy is the treatment that uses our own body's immune system to help fight cancer. Immunotherapy is used to stimulate our own body's immune system to work harder and smarter to attack cancer cells. Immunotherapy comprise drugs such as man made immune system proteins for the various components of our immune system. Researches and clinical trials are making steady progress in this new field.

Whilst clinical trials and approvals of new drugs are in the pipeline. Let us do our part to assist and enhance our immune system for now. It is not too late to start.
